Student Council

So many our students went above and beyond to present to me how hard they are going to work to help St Eunan’s NS. I have been entertained, amazed and extremely proud of the standard of the applications for the Student Council. Presentations and applications are vital skills for our students to learn. Continue to encourage these great activities and learning. Every student who applied to be part of the Student Council will be rewarded with a treat. For the students who were not selected at this time, I want you to remember the story of Jimmy McGuiness (Manager for Donegal All Ireland Winners 2012) He applied to be Manger of the Donegal Team 3 times. The first two times he didn’t get the job and the third time he was the only one in for the job. Jimmy Mc Guinness never gave up and went on to be one of Ireland’s greatest Gaelic football managers. I am sure that every student who applied for student council will have a great future in leadership.
